Why Do We Judge

Why do we judge?
Why do we judge? We know it is negative, yet, we judge ourselves and others? What are we judging?? Where did we learn to judge?

Unbeknown to our conscious mind, we project those parts of ourselves that we were made to feel badly about in our youth; and now as adults we judge them in ourselves and others. Since our thoughts and behaviors are shaped by how we were made to feel in the center of our childhood experiences; long before we were old enough to see the ‘bigger picture’ and understand the root of any situation or circumstance; we carry these wounds into our adult life, relationships and experiences. Through inner therapeutic work, it becomes possible to identify such recurring themes, reactions, and behaviors that we bring in to our contemporary life. Once identified we now have the ability to choose how we want to handle ourselves, our language and our behavior as we choose our higher selves instead of our learned behaviors and reactions.
